Balls are donated annually as part of the program.
Every year in our country more than 2,000,000 tennis balls end up in landfills, which is almost 150 tons of rubber and synthetic cloth. When decomposed, they release a large amount of toxic substances that poison the air, water and land that surround us and our children.
Our company invites tennis fans to return rotten balls to special barrels in the project’s partner stores. We, in turn, take these balls to the specialized Dmitrov RTI plant, where the cloth and rubber are processed and reused for the manufacture of textile and rubber products.
